Presentation skills coach · Perth, Western Australia
For leaders and professionals who can already stand up and speak, and want to be sharper, more persuasive and far more memorable when it counts. Specialist programs include sales presentations, persuasion and influence and technical presentation skills.
“Coaching isn’t about fixing what’s broken. It’s about unlocking what’s already there.”

Closing the gap
The other half is having the confidence and capability to do it. In the room, at the microphone and in the chair. I help people close that gap, from CEOs facing a tough board to young professionals giving their first big presentation.
Starting out?
For people who want to stop the knees knocking and get through the next team meeting without going red. A worthy goal, and a different program.
Ready for more?
For people who already have a degree of confidence. You know your words aren’t the problem, but something still isn’t landing the way it should. This is where you go from being heard to being remembered.
What we work on
The science of presenting well is learnable. Every bit of it. When we work together we focus on three things.
What your body is saying. Your non-verbal communication often speaks louder than your words.
How your presentation is structured and sequenced, so the message builds and the point lands.
The how behind the what. Voice, pace, pause and presence, working together.
What sets this coaching apart
There are plenty of presentation coaches out there. What I do differently is focus heavily on the non-verbal, because that’s where the real power lives when you need to persuade and influence.
After more than 40 years of speaking, coaching, facilitating and chairing, I watch the whole picture. Getting that mix right for your personality and your audience is a craft. It’s exactly what we work on together.
Meet Stanley
Stanley is the voice in the back of your audience’s head. You know the feeling. You’re watching a speaker and something doesn’t sit right. You can’t put your finger on it. But Stanley can.
My job is to hear what Stanley is saying, and fix it before you step on stage.
What Stanley whispers
Hot-seat coaching
One-to-one or in a small group workshop, my approach is the same. I deconstruct what you’re doing now, find the lowest-hanging fruit, the change that makes the biggest immediate difference, and rebuild from there.
Think of a golf coach watching your swing. A grip adjustment. A stance correction. Small tweaks that add up to a completely different result. Presenting is no different.
What to change, and why it matters to your audience.
You see and hear the difference, not just read about it.
Straight away, in the hot seat, until it feels like yours.
It works for every learning style, and frankly it’s been lost in a lot of modern training. In groups I use audience validation: after each correction I ask the group what they noticed. It builds the speaker’s confidence and proves the change works. No theory for theory’s sake.

The result
That’s not a tagline. It’s what happens when the verbal, the vocal and the visual all work together. Congruently, consistently and authentically as you.

Questions
A presentation skills coach helps you communicate with more confidence, clarity and impact, whether you’re presenting to a board, pitching to a client or speaking at a conference. I watch what you do now, find the changes that will make the biggest difference, and help you practise them until they feel natural.
This page is for people who already have some confidence and want to be sharper and more persuasive. If you’re nervous about speaking at all, start with my public speaking training for nervous speakers.
Both. I coach individuals one-to-one and run small group workshops. The approach is the same: hot-seat coaching, where I explain, demonstrate and then you practise.
Yes. Many clients come to me before a board presentation, a pitch, a conference talk or a big internal announcement. We work on the actual presentation you’ll be giving.
